Zhua ‮ ‬‭‬is a Chinese weapon used to wrap‭, ‬capture‭, ‬entangle and scratch‭.‬It features a metal hand or claw at the end of a chain or rope‭. It‭ ‬has some scratches on its surface that can be created by a Zhua‭. ‬“Zhua Oak”‭ ‬was developed due to a highly topical surface trend‭: ‬rustic 3-D-structures and especially rough sawn woodgrain is much in demand‭. ‬The decor was planned with a restrained planking and a concerted‭, ‬interesting colourplay‭.

‬Very typical are the negative pores‭, ‬the wood details such as oak sabmarks and the transverse-to-the-grain saw cut in particular‭.‬
